When Classic Elegance Meets Modernity at the POLBOAT Yachting Festival in Gdynia

This year’s POLBOAT Yachting Festival in Gdynia was a special moment for us – it was there that the Silesian 700 had its official premiere, a motor yacht designed by our design studio Intuition Yachts. This 7-meter yacht is the result of a fascinating collaboration with Silesian Yachts, which resulted in the creation of a vessel combining classic lines with modern functionality.

Vision Born from Passion

The story of the Silesian 700 project began with a simple but profound belief of Silesian Yachts owner, Grzegorz Ciupka: “If you want to cross the river, build a boat” – as his father used to say. This very philosophy became the foundation of our collaboration. Grzegorz was looking for something more than ready-made designs available on the market – he wanted to create a boat with exceptional character that would combine the beauty of classic constructions with the latest technological solutions.

At Intuition Yachts, we understood this vision perfectly. For us, design is not just technical precision, but above all the ability to bring the client’s dreams to the water. Silesian 700 was meant to be more than a means of transport – it was to be the embodiment of elegance and functionality.

A Project Full of Thoughtful Solutions

Silesian 700 is a Category C vessel, adapted for sailing in variable weather conditions with wind strength up to 6 degrees on the Beaufort scale and with significant wave height up to 2 meters. With a maximum speed of 30 knots and only 0.5 meters of draft, the yacht offers both dynamics and access to shallow waters.

The interior layout was designed with maximum comfort for a 6-person crew during the day and comfortable overnight accommodation for 2 people in mind:

Forward cabin with U-shaped seating that, when the insert is deployed, creates a large, comfortable bed. Thoughtful storage compartments in the settee and floor provide practical storage solutions.

Central cockpit with L-shaped settees and a folding table – the heart of the boat, where the crew spends most of their time, enjoying views and companionship.

Aft sunbed for relaxation and sunbathing, with a swimming platform providing easy access to the water – the perfect spot for hot summer days.

Materials and Craftsmanship at the Highest Level

We used advanced composite materials that provide exceptional durability while maintaining lightweight construction. The joinery made from marine-grade veneered plywood emphasizes the elegant character of the interior, creating harmony between modernity and classic craftsmanship.

Every element was carefully considered – from the ergonomics of seating to accessibility of all boat systems. This approach ensures that Silesian 700 not only looks beautiful, but above all functions perfectly in daily use.

Premiere at POLBOAT Yachting Festival

Presenting Silesian 700 during POLBOAT Yachting Festival in Gdynia was a moment of particular pride for us. It was the Polish yachting exhibition that became the place where our vision met the enthusiasm of sailing enthusiasts. We could personally show how classic boat lines can work together with the latest trends in yacht design.

The visitors’ reaction exceeded our expectations. Silesian 700 attracted attention not only with its elegant silhouette, but above all with its thoughtful interior layout and high quality of workmanship. Many guests emphasized that the boat emanates that special combination of luxury and functionality that makes it ideal for Polish sailing enthusiasts.

Collaboration That Resulted in Success

The Silesian 700 project is an excellent example of how fruitful collaboration between an experienced design studio and enthusiasts with a clear vision can be. Grzegorz Ciupka and the Silesian Yachts team brought to the project not only precise craftsmanship, but above all a deep understanding of the needs of Polish sailors.
