It is powered by an electric motor, fueled by lightweight batteries. Its hull, in its final version, will be constructed from flax fiber-reinforced composites (NFC) and bio-based resins. NFC stands for Natural Fibre Composites, which represent an innovative alternative to traditional materials used in boat manufacturing, such as composite structures made from glass fiber-reinforced polyesters.
